Back to Key Club meetings!

Key Club
Hello everyone! I hope all of your first meetings went well! We've had a fantastic summer, complete with the Seattle Rally and a very successful division-wide BBQ/Homeless feed!

Now it's back to club work:
1. Promoting Key Club in your school
2. Preparing service projects for clubbers
3. Increasing membership
4. Getting clubbers excited for DCON
5. Paying dues by Nov. 1st

There are a lot of things to get done but please remember that Key Club's focus is having a great time with friends through service! Don't get too stressed out and ask for help when you need it - the district executive board, Kiwanis, your advisor, and I are here for you! Most importantly, there are other officers in our division who can help you as well; contact them and talk about any problems you are having. :) We're a team!

Here are a few documents that will help you out:
1. Swaziland Informational Flyer for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
2. Key Club Week Flyer
3. District Convention 2008 Sample Informational Flyer
4. Guide to Paying Dues

Hope this helps! Contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns! I will be updating soon!

Week of 5/21-527 Update

Key Club
LTG's note: Hey everyone! I hope you all had a restful Memorial Day weekend, despite the load of homework you all probably had. Hopefully you weren't too disappointed with Pirates of the Caribbean 3 :) Although I must say that Shrek 3 was very very good (Go see it if you haven't). Well it's back to school and back to Key Club. Everything's winding down now and soon everyone will be busy with finals but try to fit in one or two final events before the end of the year. Holding a party for your members in June is also a good idea to finish off the year on a memorable note :) Have fun!

Week of 5/14-5/20 Update

Key Club
LTG's note: This past weekend I attended the annual Spring Board Meeting for Lieutenant Governors at Camp Wa-Ri-Ki in Washougal, WA. Here we discussed the Seattle Rally, the 2008 District Convention, and bonded incredibly well with one another. (Look for more details in the upcoming June newsletter) Anyways, we're heading into the final weeks of May! Just one more week until a three-day weekend! Keep that Key Club spirit high! <33

Week of 4/30-5/6 Update

Key Club
LTG's note: First off, thanks to the officers who took time out of their Sundays (And studying for AP/IB exams :D) to come to our first DCM. We talked about everything from District Convention to the "4 season plan", which will all be covered in my newsletter for June. You guys were fantastic! Thank you so much for your work!!! <3
